I've worn many hats throghout my 8 years at JobTarget. When I started, we were a small engineering team of 6 tasked with modernizing the Marketplace experience. I put my Frontend experience to good use and after succesfully deploying the new Marketplace, the company began to grow. From there, I became a crucial member of the nascent Platform Team, charged with building and maintaining all of JobTarget's core services. This is how I went from consuming REST APIs to actually building them.

Our biggest test as a team came in late 2019, when we were tasked with building a third-party integration with one of the biggest names in the HR space. Our succesful integration helped us endure the tumultous years of the COVID-19 Pandemic. JobTarget has seen enormous growth since then, now with over 50 developers. I have now transtioned from individual contributor into Engineering Leadership. I have the privilege of passing along what I have learned to the rest of the organization. I oversee coaching, mentorship, training, and hiring for the entire Engineering team. Something I am immensly proud of.

After a succesful summer internship during my senior year of college, I secured a full time role as an individual contributor at Priceline: one of the largest online travel sites in the United States. This is where I truly learned the ropes of Web Development. I was lucky to be there when the Hotels Frontend team was trying out a lot of things that have now become standard in Web Development: Agile, A/B Testing, Node.js, Modern JavaScript Frontend Frameworks. I was paired with great mentors and together we began breaking down a Java monolith while modernizing the stack at the same time (jQuery, REST APIs).
